Who is the course for?

Anyone who has started their own social enterprise or community business/group and is looking to to promote their products and services.

What's Included?

The course is taught by highly experienced tutors over a period of six sessions:

Session 1: Developing a social/community enterprise brand - structuring your website

We look at what makes a good brand and how to make sure your social objectives are front and centre. Learners will be encouraged to think about their brand image and what they want to communicate with their audiences.

We support participants to develop their website layout and how to formulate user journeys that ensure that your website works as a tool for you and your business. Participants will end up with a plan that can then be used to build their site.

Sessions 2-5: Building your website

Participants will be introduced to the Squarespace website development platform and will begin developing their website, aided by our web development experts.

Session 6: Digital marketing overview

This session is all about how to use different digital marketing techniques to build an audience and market your services to potential customers and clients. We explore social media marketing, search engine optimisation, content marketing, email marketing, paid online marketing and video marketing.

At the end of this course, participants will have a functioning website and other digital marketing tools established, ready to be used to promote their products and services.
